Steam Omnibus, 1833.

UNITED KINGDOM - JUNE 11: Coloured print of a steam omnibus carrying passengers to Paddington, London. Walter Hancock of Stratford built a steam omnibus which he named the Enterprise for the London and Paddington Steam Carriage Company, entering service on 22nd April, 1833. With seating for 14 passengers, it was the first self-propelled vehicle to operate a scheduled bus service for fare-paying passengers. Although not identified as such on the print, the vehicle depicted is almost certainly the Enterprise. (Photo by SSPL/Getty Images)
