Girls Drinking Milk at the Milk Bar this Afternoon, 1938. Open of Milk Kiosks in Victoria Embankment Gardens and Lincoln's Inn Fields, first of their kind in the country. The London County Council has agreed, as an experiment, to allow the Milk Marketing Board to erect a kiosk in Victoria Embankment Gardens and another at Lincoln's Inn Fields where chilled milk in carton cups may be purchased by the public at reasonable prices.
