Local and state authorities announced that their search for James Kim had concluded on Wednesday, December 6, 2006, after his body was discovered by search and rescue personnel. The San Francisco man whose family was rescued Monday after they were lost in the mountains outside of Merlin, Or., set out on foot to try to find help, but died as he attempted to bring assistance to his wife and two daughers.
