(Original Caption) 1970-Miami, Oklahoma: Steve Owens brought his Heisman Trophy home Monday and gave his hometown the wildest hours in its 78-year history. The battering ram tailback was honored with a parade, named Mayor, presented the title of Chief of the Quapaw, and had a main street named in his honor.
