The Tango Musical Venue La Catedral del Tango In Buenos Aires
BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA - MARCH 04: The Tango venue known as "La Catedral del Tango" in Almagro district is considered one of the most eccentric and grungiest of places where a very authentic atmosphere has been created to showcase the best of Tango in the city. Founded in 1998 by two aficionados of the musical expression in what used to be an old abandoned factory in a working class neighbourhood of the city. Every single item in this cavernous cathedral found its final resting place from recycled materials and skips to become tables, benches, chairs, bottles; even the stage was cobbled together from corrugated tin roof sheeting and planks of wood. All the original art on the walls was donated by artists who appreciated the concept behind the creation of such a venue. It hosts live shows by different musical artists on a nightly basis which is supported by a loyal public in Buenos Aires city on March 4, 2020. (Photo by Christopher Pillitz/Getty Images)
