Picture shows a close-up view of the front facade of the abbatial church of the Saint Hydulphe abbey of Moyenmoutier, as seen from the French Gardens. The abbey was founded in 671 as a hermitage by Saint Hydulphe and later modified in the baroque and classical styles, the current buildings dating from the XVIIIth and XIXth centuries. It is classified as a historical monument since 1840. The abbey is part of a touristic road in the Vosges mountains called the 3 abbeys road (Route des 3 abbayes) which also includes the Étival-Clairefontaine and Senones abbeys.
