Crocodiles of Manghopir shrine - stock photo
An exterior view of the shrine of Sufi Pir Haji Syed Sakhi Sultan, which is situated just west of North Karachi town.
Even more baffling is the pond adjacent to the shrine which is populated by dozens of crocodiles which mythology is associated with the saint as a legend. Unfortunately no proper arrangements for food are made for these reptiles who mostly rely on devotees of the saint, who are to bring meat / sweetmeat for them as a goodwill gesture and for accomplishment of their wishes.
