Daveys Bay Beach - Frankston South - stock photo
Situated along Daveys Bay Beach along the Mornington Peninsula via Gulls Way, are two massive weathered granite rocks with the remains of a tall stone wall built into one of the rocks. I can't tell whether these rocks rolled there from the nearby cliffs or if they were purposely placed there? Who knows, but I managed to walk through the middle of them. The Brooke's Outdoor Dance Pavilion was once located within the vicinity, so perhaps the wall was once part of its landscape back in the 1920s. Here are the granite rocks perched on the shore during a low tide sunset.
