A mother mountain gorilla and her baby are resting among the pile of vines. The mother is lying down on leaves and watching her baby. The infant is playing with leaves. The focus is on them. They are from Hirwa group. Hirwa means "lucky" in Rwanda language. Only ten mountain gorilla families are open to visit. Hirwa family is one of them. Since the mountain gorillas are endangered species the new born gorillas are very important in Rwanda. Each year in September name giving ceremony is done for baby gorillas born in that year like a type of christening. All world press and and famous names come to this ceremony.
