A panoramic image of Monterrey, Mexico - stock photo
Monterrey Mexico on an early, cold January morning
The building seen here is the Torre Ciudadana - or Citizen Tower - in Monterrey, Mexico, is the second tallest building in the city and in the entire northern part of the country. Standing at 180 meters in height with it 36 floors, it is the State Government Administrative Tower and was built between 2007 and 2010, when it was inaugurated. It is considered a smart building because of its technology.
The building is located in front of La Fundidora Park.
The Cerro de la Silla, or Saddle Hill, gets its name because of the resemblance to a horse saddle. It dominates the entire city of Monterrey and is here on the right side of the image.
