Congresswoman Lowey opposes four week continuing resolution

New York Representative Nita Lowey criticizes a third fiscal 2018 continuing resolution as an epic failure of governing three months into the fiscal year, and Republicans for advancing the bill with no foreseeable path forward on enacting for your appropriations or urgency to address priorities with complete preoccupation for showering tax breaks and corporations in the wealthiest Americans, failing to clear the extremely low bar of charting a course to keep government open, but wanting Democrats to bail them out on a bill that neglects priorities such as the bipartisan dream act and reauthorizing the children’s health insurance program that tells children and families, their medical needs are not a priority.
