Operation Ivy, Mike shot Timelapse
The Mike shot of Operation Ivy was a 20 ton experimental thermonuclear device which detonated with a yield of 10.5 MT (Megatons) on Enewetak Atoll in the Pacific in 1952. This is a time lapse shot of the Mike cloud as it explodes and rises and mingles with natural clouds.
